Dear Friends of the Kolbe Center,
Glory to Jesus Christ!
We are rapidly approaching the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Kolbe Center when bureaucrats in Richmond, Virginia, incorporated us on the feast of the Immaculate Conception, our principal patroness, in the Jubilee Year 2000. Since that day, by the grace of God, with the help of the whole Kolbe family throughout the world, we have been able to work together to produce Catholic materials that can equip any Catholic community, family or individual to restore the foundations of the Faith that have been eroded or destroyed by belief in the Cartesian-Darwinian Narrative. Alas! In the post-Traditiones-Custodes environment we urgently need everyone who has benefited from our work to commit to regular prayer for our apostolate and to the highest possible level of financial support, either through a monthly donation or a one-time gift, so that we can use the materials that God has enabled us to create to help restore the foundations of the Faith throughout the world.
Recently, a medical doctor who watched the abridged version of “Foundations Restored” in Spanish sent me this reflection:
I thought the video was excellent and fascinating. The information presented was very clear, very well researched. I was able to better understand the topic of Creation / Evolution in the light of the Truths of our Catholic Church as preserved since the times of the apostles through Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the Magisterium.
The early Church Fathers learned from the Apostles the Truth about our origins and Creation. They warned against changing any of the original teachings regarding Creation and the consequences thereof. I found this amazing!
This teaching is so needed for these times – in a world where confusion, half-truths/ lies regarding Creation and evolution have distorted God’s Creation and plan for humanity.
It became very clear to me how the Creation account in Genesis 1 and 2 is true and historical and not an allegory. I understand that Creation occurred over six days by supernatural event by the Word of God.
I was unaware of the Scripture 2 Peter 3:3-6 warning that in the last days scoffers would come to scoff, living according to their own desires, ignoring the Creation account, and the destruction of the world deluged with water. Reading these Scripture verses really impacted me and filled me with awe.
I better understand how the Magisterium of the Church, Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture all preserved the truth of Creation being a historical event of supernatural origin by the Word of God.
The video was very powerful in exposing the failures and lies of the various philosophies whose goal was to deny God, leading to materialistic, atheistic, humanistic, naturalistic teachings that gradually have come to permeate all areas of our societies, culture, governments, educational institutions. This has led to people away from God and has led to the indoctrination of millions of people with these ideologies. The end goal is to remove God from everything and exterminate the helpless and weak in the world. The result is the eugenics movement, euthanasia, gender confusion, loss of our identity and dignity as children of God, and apostasy.

The Creation-Providence Framework vs. the Cartesian-Darwinian Narrative
I was impressed that this medical doctor so fully appreciated the significance of St. Peter’s prophecy in Chapter 3 of his Second Epistle. Our leadership team has found that anyone who appreciates the significance of that prophecy and its fulfillment with the rise of Cartesian naturalism and evolutionism is able to recognize that the debate between special creation and evolution has little if anything to do with natural science. It is fundamentally a clash between two theological and philosophical frameworks—the Catholic Creation-Providence Framework, drawn from Divine Revelation, and the Naturalist Uniformitarian Framework of Descartes and the so-called Enlightenment philosophers, based on an arbitrary denial of the supernatural. This insightful doctor also perceived the importance of the scoffers’ two-fold denial—a denial of the fiat creation all things in the beginning on the one hand, and a denial of God’s supernatural divine judgment on the first-created world with the Flood on the other.
Another friend of the Kolbe Center from Latin America watched the Spanish version of Foundations Restored and sent me this reflection:
I am honored to have been able to see this documentary . . . The documentary leaves me filled with joy and renewed faith. Now I understand why it has had an impact on the hearts of young people in the USA. Despite that I’m not young in age. I watched the film in three one-hour sessions, because it is loaded with content and not easy to assimilate for those of us who are not scientists. But it is so well documented that it is mind-blowing.
We will engage distributors who will place the film in theaters on a variable fee basis and recruit volunteers for its promotion. Theaters will retain a percentage of the revenue, and our reimbursement will cover only logistical, travel expenses, and the time of coordinators in each country. 100% of the net proceeds will be delivered to the Kolbe Center. Any money invested in influencers or advertising will likely have to come from donations, most likely from the U.S.A., because people here are not open to contributing money to other NGOs than the ones managed by themselves.
Please pray about making the most generous possible gift to the Kolbe Center so that we can take advantage of this opportunity to help restore the foundations of the Faith throughout the Spanish-speaking Catholic world.

Answering Our Critics: The Twofold Prediction of St. Peter’s Second Epistle
On a number of different occasions over the years, we have been criticized by Catholic intellectuals who argue that it is inconsistent for the Kolbe Center to deny the validity of extrapolation from present observations of the natural world to explain the origins of man and the universe while using extrapolation from present observations to defend the historical truth and chronological accuracy of the sacred history of Genesis. In reality, these critics underscore the importance of the link between the two parts of St. Peter’s prediction in his Second Epistle, Chapter 3. On the one hand, we can look at evolutionary scenarios for theoretical processes like star formation or genome building and see that they have no basis in observation, in nature or in the laboratory. At the same time, we can look at observable processes in nature, like the decay of the Earth’s magnetic field, and conclude that reasonable extrapolations from those observations confirm the traditional chronology of the world derived from the Bible, and flatly contradict the long-age uniformitarian accounts of the origins of man and the universe.
We are delighted to be able to offer a new book by engineer Bruce Malone entitled A Christian’s Guide to Refuting Evolution which contains excellent explanations of the principal tenets of the molecules to man evolution hypothesis and an enjoyable array of activities for school or home-school to expose its fatal flaws. In combination with the abridged version of “Foundations Restored,” Malone’s activity book will allow any middle or high school parent or teacher to equip students to critically evaluate the claims of the evolutionary hypothesis and to confirm the superiority of the Creation-Providence-Flood Framework as an explanation of all the evidence from nature and the laboratory.
We encourage as many of our readers as possible to distribute copies of this book to Catholic schools and home-schools and, if you have not already done so, to make a one-time donation or a monthly or quarterly pledge of financial support so that we can continue to produce new materials to help restore the foundations of the Faith throughout the world.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God and of all Saints, may the Holy Ghost guide us all into all the Truth!
In Domino,
Hugh Owen
